A THOUSAND ‘Winter Warmer Bags’ will be distributed to the vulnerable people in Droitwich after CVS won £1,000.
The Droitwich charity won the National Grid’s Christmas Community Give Campaign after Nigel Huddleston nominated them for the award.
Tonia Enderbury, Chief Officer at Droitwich CVS, said: “Everyone is struggling a bit at the moment, and we want to give Christmas cheer.
“It is nice giving something to the community.”
The bags will include items like a fleece blanket, hot chocolates, Christmas puddings and soups.
