DROITWICH Police has hit out at two people who made two hoax 999 calls within 15 minutes of each other.
Officers were sent to the town’s Westlands estate at 12.45pm on Friday (December 8) for no reason.
Droitwich SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) said on Twitter: “This blatant misuse of the 999 service put genuine victim’s at risk as well as OUR officers.”
And they warned the perpetrator that officers were reviewing CCTV from where the calls were made from in a bid to catch the culprits.
