FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a blaze at an electrical substation in Droitwich.
The fire broke out around 2.25pm on Sunday in Clifford Road.
Three crews were sent to the incident and brought the fire in the 11,000-volt transformer under control.
The equipment was completely destroyed by the flames.
Western Power Distribution engineers turned off the power while crews fought the fire and power was restored to the area later that afternoon.
